AUSTIN, Texas — Amazon.ca is adding 3,200 jobs to its Canadian logistics network and expects to create more than 50 permanent positions over the next two years.
The company said Monday it plans to invest $6 billion in Canada over the coming years, with the goal of creating 1,000 permanent jobs by 2021.
In addition to hiring for warehouses, logistics positions will also be created to work in its warehouses, distribution centres and fulfillment centers in Canada.
Amazon said it expects to have 50 permanent jobs in Canada by 2021 and to add another 2,000 to the mix by 2022.
