The company looking to fill the vacant roles of logistics manager, warehouse manager and customer service manager at Amazon, which currently employs some 3,000 people in the UK, has issued an advert to its online community.
Amazon posted an advert for the job of a logistics manager with a “lack of experience” and asked applicants to provide “a concise description of what you can bring to Amazon’s logistics team”.
The job posting also asks that candidates include the company’s email address and contact details, as well as a link to an interview with a manager at the company.
The company is looking to hire someone who is “a passionate advocate for Amazon’s customers”, and is looking for someone who will be able to “understand the company business model, deliver high-quality products and services in a timely and cost-effective manner”.
Amazon’s UK operations have been rocked by the closure of its logistics operations, which have been largely affected by the disruption caused by the Brexit vote.
However, the company is reportedly considering closing the UK operation as well.
